I enjoyed your review.

Fortunately for you, you don't live in a hot and humid climate and ride in slow moving traffic. Otherwise you would have mentioned HEAT as one of the negatives. But many others say most big bikes are similar in emitting heat.

I can see that how heat would be a factor. Yes, I live in Northern California- the average temps even in summer is 65degreees.

Is that seat breaking in (or breaking you in?)

Now that I have mine I get some serious smashed crotch going on because it's like they designed the seat to guide you right to the thinnest part at the front. I got on my BMW yesterday for the first time since I had owned the Ducati and the seat was so soft and comfy... like a hemorrhoid donut. It was fun being back on a motorcycle that didn't make me want to get off after 15 minutes.

The problem with the Ducati is that it's like a dominatrix. It pummels your crotch, but the alluring cornering and power keep you on board, putting up with it.

Great job with the long term review. Having watched all your other videos, didn't expect any less from you this time either. :)

Thank you for the effort!

Nice vid Moto! I have just under 1000 miles on my Icon.

Love this motorcycle!

My other bike is a BMW K1200S that I have ridden all over the Western U.S. and Canada. And yes, while I can and have cruised at 130 mph or more with luggage on the K in the desert for sustained periods; that won't happen on my Scrambler.

But, it does just fine at 75-80. Very minimal vibrations, and the engine is not working hard, although revving a bit. I could see taking it on a trip with some minimal wing protection and carrying capacity.

The engine is fantastic at all RPM. Same for lightweight handling. It's small compared to my K, but that cool to be small and light, any I am not the tallest guy so it fits me well.

The seat is a bit of a pain, but unlike yours, mine seems to be breaking in...or my seat muscles are getting used to it!

Nicely said. I'm also a big fan of BMWs K bikes.

For speeds higher than 75-80 mph, does anyone think the Termi race exhaust with ECU update is going to help or all the benefits of the ECU update are in fuelling at lower revs / speeds?

Absolutely no fueling issues with mine at any RPM...stock exhaust with evap can...

As Moto mentioned, it's not geared for sustained high speeds...but the standard set-up has plenty of zoot to go into triple digits.
