It's a bit too much contrast for me visually, almost like those gals who get lip liner tattooed onto their face or fake eyebrows. Was your rim tape up front a huge pain to install? I've been thinking about trying some of that out.

Rim decals were easy enough, just make sure to clean the wheel good.


And I am not sure I like the tank striping either. Just trying something different.

I have to also admit my personal bias due to hatred of the Iowa Hawkeyes as well. Their colors are black and yellow I hadn't thought about pinstriping much just because I like the simple look of the tank. I thought I'd want to change my side panels right away by painting them black or really dark gray, but so far I'm digging the real aluminum.

My knees simply covered in denim are already starting to polish two identical spots on each side panel to a shine. I think I'm just going to go with it

It's looking neat for sure and one helluva job. I suck at that kind of stuff so I admire anyone who can pull off such jobs so neatly.

One of my opinions about both Yellow & Red Icon is that there is too much black on it and too less of the defining colour. Any such mods should not add any more black onto it, the tank pad already is doing that, and for more black, there's always the FT.

Think about adding strips of yellow or some lighter colour to the black seat perhaps?
