For Icons in US does the plate holder sit behind the wheel or on the end of the seat? I've seen pics of both. Would like the behind the wheel option...anyone know if that's even possible if bike is not equipped as such?

Only the Classic does not have it mounted behind the wheel

Off the wheel is standard for Icons globally. Anything else is aftermarket, either with Ducati parts or something else like R&G, Evotech or Rizoma
