Anyone tried their hands at replacing the stock indicators yet? I inspected the front ones - got discouraged by the wire pair which disappears somewhere under the tank, presumably all the way to a terminal box and at the other end they seem permanently connected inside the stock indicator assembly. Didn't open the indicator assembly though.
There doesn't seem to be a way of connecting any aftermarket ones without adding a long pair of wires from the terminal box or by chopping off the wires at the indicator end. Did I miss something? Anyone has a better solution implemented yet?
