I always carry one of these on the bike for just that reason.

Hipsters probably do not lock their helmet they just rest them over one of the mirrors!!!

I usualy use a small padlock to secure the helmet to the mirror or the brake lever.
I also have a pacsafe helmet bag.

You will need to buy a thin cable which attaches under the seat.

No there is no small normal Ducati cable and no fixing loop. Been overlooked but I bet discussed by designers who often have weird idealogical brains >





But they at least gave us a decent area where supposedly we lob our smart phones to rattle around whilst doing jumps and wheelies so good reason to put my 1m cycle lock bought from any store but this from Decathlon ( Asda, Halfords, Argos or cycle shop for less than a £5) and at least its longer and thicker than OEM ones and you can tether 2-3 helmets through the frame or swingarm for some basic security.








That's me happy and sorted if needed.

I mounted one of these to my handle bars. The cable is 4 feet long and stretches to my helmet, which I hang from my right-side grip. I'll post up photos of mine during my lunch hour.

Also, the cable's long enough to go through the arm of my jacket, the strap of a backpack and the helmet together, if need be.

Where on the bike do you lock the helmet to and where do you keep the lock when you're riding?

... a few stainless steel-bbq-skewer-wires (solid tip cut off), both ends diy swaged into loops, small Abus luggage lock .... makes it easy to lock a lot of items to a bike ...

It looks more substantial than the trigger lock I have. I have been hesitant to use the trigger lock because it isn't much of a deterrent.

You can use use the grip lock like this, even without metal wires (with some helmets).
