The helmet cam market has just blown up in the last year. From Go Pro's to specialized choices.

One thing that I cannot find addressed is whether anyone charges while on the bike with a USB cable? I cannot stand the thought of having to remember to charge my camera after every ride.

Apart from the nuisance of the cable there is the problem with finding a camera that supports on the go charging (I'm not sure the Go Pro does and getting a cable plugged into the housing is an issue as well).

Does anyone have a plugged in helmet cam?

if you use a skeleton housing (Go Pro), you can utilize the USB to charge..

however, I am also looking for suitable cable for the waterproof housing... saw a couple of DIY videos in YouTube that involves paper thin cable... still trying to figure out if I can find those cables in Sim Lim
