Hello all,

I saw the link for the new Scrambler forum on Ducati.ms and came over to register. You can't be on too many Ducati forums, right?

So, yeah, I'm the same DesmoDog from the other bike forums, and I do have a dog named Desmo which is where the username came from.

I think the Scramblers look pretty interesting and if things had worked out differently I'm pretty sure my 796 Hypermotard would have been traded for one this spring. But… in October my Hyper got traded in on a Monster instead. For now I'm just an interested onlooker but who knows what might happen in the future!

I could see owning one eventually, but it will be a while. What started last spring as me thinking about trading my Hypermotard for a 796 Monster ended up with me getting a Monster 1200S this fall instead. I only put about 300 miles on it before the season ended (I had no intentions of actually BUYING a bike that day at the dealership… I was going to wait until spring) but so far it's gotten me more excited about riding than I have been in years.

Probably nothing in the near future… my wife is understanding but that'd be pushing it.

We (my wife and I) have two golden retrievers; Desmo (14 years old) and Sophia (7). Desmo is in amazing shape for his age, Sophia just suffered a tendon injury which has put a serious hitch in her activity level...
