Hello from Oklahoma
Hello all from Oklahoma. I'm 51 years old today and excited to be becoming a Ducati Scrambler owner. I grew up riding trail bikes....a lot. After adulthood I got away from riding until 2009 when my wife and I purchased trail bikes. I taught her to ride and at the same time realized how much I'd missed riding. I vowed to not ever get a street bike for the danger of being run over. After seeing the Scrambler online, I guess I was ready to succumb to the adage "We all die but too few of us live".
We traveled to Dallas in January and saw all of the models except for the red Icon. I was on the fence, back and forth between a red Icon and a Classic. My wife really liked the look of the Classic. Earlier this month we put down deposits for a Red Icon and a Classic. At the same time my brother put down a deposit for an Urban Enduro. We've got most of the models covered in our family! Can't wait for them to arrive. I've been enjoying the forum and look forward to learning of everyone's experiences with this exciting new bike.
Oh, and I've attached a photo of my birthday present from my wife today. She makes and sells jewelry on the side and made the bracelet for me.

When we placed the deposit we were told to expect the Icon in April, the Classic and my brother's Urban Enduro in May.Welcome to the forum. Glad to have you here. Any idea when your Scrambler will arrive?

Yeah, I'm not sure if I'm cool enough for the bracelet (or dare I say Hipster). Hand hammered sterling silver and the Ducatista is etched into the metal. I've already requested a second version on brown leather. My wife is a keeper!
