Hey can you guys inquire which fuse they tie into and if the amperage of the fuse is changed? I installed some inexpensive heaters and would like to wire them in to the right switched circuit

Thanks
Very sorry Phil the dealer fitted the Ducati OEM heated grips and have to say they work very well and each of the 3 settings are very effective ie low medium and hi. I had to turn them off the medium setting on the way home.

Really very easy to operate just hit the starter button while the engine is on.

An icon comes up on the display to show chosen temp.

Simple.

Good to know that you can adjust the temperature. Sometimes they are too hot and there is no happy medium. Sounds like you are going to be prepared to ride into the fall. When do you expect to park your bike for the winter?

Anyone attempt to install on their own?
Mine still hadn't turned up by the first service. I knew that they had to be enabled in the dash by the dealer using the DDS so I asked if they could be enabled and the grips sent out to me when they came in so I could fit them myself. However it turns out that the grips have to be installed first for the DDS to recognise them.
So the answer is you can't install them yourself and for me it will need a 200 mile (320 km) round trip to get them fitted.

Are there any other heated grips that people recommend? The Ducati ones seem a little pricey to me, but maybe it's worthwhile...
I once had fitted a set of Oxford ones to a Yamaha XJR they were crap could not tel if they were on or off even on full.

Had another OEM set on a BMW they were excellent. Just as the Ducati ones so I would say if its important to you fit the Ducati ones.
