I'd like my bars to be just a tad higher, could you all suggest some ideas for risers? This is my first go-round with 1 1/8" bars so I'm a little uncertain. If this has been done already and I missed it, my apologies. Thanks.
I can't tell you what exactly what will fit nor how raised bars will change your view of the speedo but they don't seem expensive for a bit of trial and error
Yes, that does help, thank you very much. I was looking at those too, but I wasn't sure if the Ducati bar clamps were standard or some kind of "Ducati-only". Also, I was wondering if it might be better to have some sort of riser under the clamp assembly itself, but then I figured it'd leave an unsightly gap between the headstock and clamps. Cheap and simple seems like the place to start, as you've suggested.
Any other thoughts? Anybody? I'd be glad to hear them, thanks again.
Hey Sarah did you ever try raising the bars on your FT? If so were these cheap-o options a go or did you end up going another way? Also - did you find that there was any issue with the cables? Thank you!
I had no cable problems at all using Rox 2" risers, but the clamp was high enough to block my view of the dash. I swapped to Pro Taper ATV High bars and they've been the ticket.
Sarah
