I have seen a few people asking how to drill locating holes the for controls on an aftermarket handlebar. Here's how I do it.

Wrap a piece of paper around the factory bar. Align the edge of the paper with the edge of the bar and pick a reference point for your overlap. Tape the seam, then press the paper into the holes. Slide the tube off, and onto the new bars, then drill through the paper. Piece of cake!
