New proud Scrambler Icon Owner
After 20 years without bikes (many reasons, but being Dad was the most important) - the last was a Kawa ZZR1100.

I confess first i've looked for and HD but I didn't like it for me.
I can not understand how you can sit on it and should have fun to ride curves in the alps.

Then a friend showed me the Scrambler. Next day I was at the Ducati Dealer.
45 min later- I've buyed my Scrambler. And of course there is love at the first sight - maybe not for humans to human

I am a supposed to be Scrambler owner from Basel and I am counting the days until my bike arrives. I was supposed to get one of the immediately available bikes from the dealership, but they made a mistake and sold the bike twice. I wasn't the lucky one in the end ;-)


Did you buy your Scrambler in Germany, in the city of WT by any chance? If you have a red Scrambler with the VIN ....5738 then you are the lucky one who actually got his Scrambler from this dealership. I am only asking, because I'd find the coincidence quite funny.


Anyway: I hope you enjoy your Scrambler big time and always ride it carefully so you remain in one piece so you can enjoy more riding :-D


If I ever manage to collect my Scrambler before the winter arrives, I suggest we take it them to the mountains together!

Welcome!

I know what you mean with how HOOKED the scrambler can get you into it. My first time seeing it was at a local show and although I had seen information online about it and on this forum.... seeing it in person was something special.

Nein - ich hab' meine von einem netten Schweizer Händler. Komm grad' von einem kleine Ausritt - klar, bei dem Wetter. Ich hör' ja schon auf - ich möchte Dich nicht neidisch machen. Sooo geil

verstehe VIN..5738 nicht?!
Ich musste Sie meinem Händler auch rausreissen - er hatte zwei Demo's. Eine gelbe gedrosselt und eine rote offen. Ich wollte aber die gelbe offen.

Die Idee mit den Alpen gefällt mir, aber lass mich noch ein wenig reinkommen - wie gesagt ich bin ein wenig aus der Übung. Wobei sie sich so herrlich leicht fährt und ich das Gefühl hab, dass das nicht lang dauern kann.

The dealer have a lot of beautiful bikes - and it was not the price while I choose this one.
I can't explain it rationally. Love on first sight....

Also, wenn die Duc vom Händler in WT gewesen wäre und die Fahrgestellnummer (VIN) endend mit 5738 gehabt hätte, dann wärst Du ja der Glückliche gewesen, der die Maschine nicht nur gekauft sondern auch bekommen hätte. Ich dagegen habe nur einen Kaufvertrag über die rote Scrambler mit der 5738.


Wieder reinkommen? Geht mir auch so! Ich bin auch lange nicht gefahren und muss, wenn ich dann mal ein Motorrad haben sollte, auch erstmal wieder in Schwung kommen.
