Yesterday I put down a $1k deposit for a yellow Icon! :D

My last and first bike was a 2004 Triumph Bonneville America that I sold in 2006. It hurt my back, and I realized forward controls wasn't really my style of riding. Furthermore my wife wanted me to sell it because we were trying for kids, and the whole motorcycle thing made her nervous. Turns out we couldn't have kids anyway (oh well), but I digress.

Many time consuming and expensive hobbies later, and my eye turned back to two wheels this summer. I'd been obsessing over the Monster for quite a while, but as soon as I saw the Scrambler, I fell in love with it. All of the reviews in last week confirmed it for me, so I'm all in now. I can't wait!

Welcome to the forum,
Very much like yourself, will be back on the bike next year, after some years off.
