That was an excellent review. He echoed what we've heard from a lot of other people - great low end and midrange power (sweet!), but the throttle may be overly sensitive off idle. I imagine they'll update the software on the bike to reduce the throttle issue, but everything else sounds excellent. I'm glad to see it on the mild off road stuff too since those are the type of basic trails I envision myself riding on. Interesting to hear him say he thinks it's one of the best Ducatis to come out in some time - especially with no qualifiers like "best playbike" or "best entry level bike" - which is quite impressive. It appears the reception of the bike has been overwhelmingly positive in all the reviews I've seen. Makes me even more excited for picking mine up!

I also noticed there's a light to show if the kickstand is down, which I think will be a great feature especially for beginners. I saw a youtube clip of a kid wrecking his dad's Ducati 996sps because he took off with the kickstand still down LOL. One thing I'd like to see as well but don't think it has would be a gear indicator on the instrument gauge. It probably won't be as helpful as it would be on other higher geared Ducatis, but I certainly wouldn't mind having it.

Check it out--this guy knows how to ride, and seems to really knows his motorcycles.

Excellent, all I had hoped for. I concur with DenverDuc comments especially re the throttle response at low revs hope thats mapped out of it.

pleased the kick stand warning light is there as thats what I'm used to as its standard on the MV.

For me I would change the exhaust for an Akrapovic slip on exhaust as thought it sounded a little tame.

Cheers
