I'm in the process of having Givi E21N Side Cases installed onto my Scrambler. Cost for the pair of E21N cases was Php 5500 = US $124, cost of SB2000 Universal Mounting Brackets for both cases was Php 2000 = US $45, cost of labor Php 3000 = US $67. Grand Total = Php 10,500 = US $236.
* Note: There was absolutely no way I could have done the installation myself, it required bending and cutting the thick universal metal brackets to custom fit my Icon.

I will upload better pictures when the work is done.

Side bags installed.. I kind of think the oval shape of the Givi E21N fits my red Icon nicely. Next up is for me to powder coat my side panels matte black.

I like the side racks - much better the same size than the odd size Ducati ones. Makes the bike a tad wider though with the luggage - I'd have to keep remembering that! I suppose you could use soft luggage as well?

Very nice look. I'll be interested to hear if the exhaust side bag gets hot due to the muffler the aiming exhaust directly at the bag. Perhaps it's not as it appears in your pictures. Please let us know. Thnx
I was a bit worried about the output of the exhaust aimed at the side case. Riding home for 25 minutes didn't cause any problems. But i will do a 100km test ride soon and report the results.

Yes i can opt to pair soft luggage with the racks but i prefer hard cases with the coming Metro Manila rainy season.

Oh, i measured the width of the side bags installed.. Only 35 inches. Which is 1 inch narrower than the stock handlebar. But just the same size as my installed Renthal Ultra Low Street bars.

Cheers

Did a 30 minute ride in warm tropical weather. Checked the my plastic side case.. Very warm with slight discoloration due to soot build up. But the discoloration was easily wiped away.. But i really do not want to continue my experiment further. I plan on installing a custom exhaust and will surely adjust the exhaust exit.

Any one try installing Givi pannier holder PL7407? More specifically, the indicators must be moved from their original position??

My exhaust was only $150 USD because I got it from a friend who fabricates exhausts. I am part of the Philippine Ducati Scrambler Club.. And have compared it with Zard (Hi and Low), SC (low) and Termi (high and low).. And IMO my custom exhaust sounds and performs just as well. I even think it sounds better! Objectively, it is more functional than the others because the new exit angle frees me to choose non OEM panniers.

4 months of daily use on Manila roads.. I am very satisfied and glad I have my Givi E21N hard side cases.. Love them!!! Note: must have customized exhaust and mounting done to enjoy them first.

Max speed tested at 160km/hr = very stable. Ride through rough gravel roads almost daily, no problems.
