There are a few other threads with screen discussion. Seems to me that most who have tried the little yellow one from ducati seem to agree it's not very functional, but looks nice on the yellow Icon and the FT. I fancy the idea of a clear version of it.

Here are some threads to have a look through at your leisure.

One that was briefly mentioned and was buried after that is this one - World Walk : Universal Windshield [ws-01m]

Mdidato posted pictures of it on his red Icon on page five, here, with that screen mounted - http://www.ducatiscramblerforum.com/forum/appearance-body/10657-puig-naked-screen-5.html#post133682

I was impressed with the styling vs the dart and snatched one up as well. My bike is an Icon and won't help demonstrate what it looks like on an FT, but it's an option to consider. It is styled similarly to the Dart, but the lines suit the bike a bit more IMO. Not everybody will agree with me, of course. The Dart is $120 in the US IIRC and the Japanese screen posted above costed me something like $42 after shipping.

Thanks very much kjs, was it a long wait for shipping? Thanks again.

Maybe 10 business days, from Japan to USA. I ordered the darker one if that becomes relevant.

Something I should add; the mounting brackets on the Dart fit the stock indicator mounts really nicely as they are made for the Scrambler. The one from webike are "universal" and fit perfectly fine, but made me think for a minute about the best way to install.

Sometime when it's handy for you, could we have a few pictures, please? I don't have a Scrambler yet, but I'm making all sorts of notes. Thanks again.

Sure, I can take some showing how I mounted mine later today or tomorrow. In the meantime...(wow, boring day at work)

See the pictures in this link to a thread showing what the indicators and how they are put together. What follows will make a lot more sense if you understand this: http://www.ducatiscramblerforum.com...-fix-up-them-u-s-spec-front-turn-signals.html

Note the bolt with yellow paint on it. The indicator wires go up through the turn signal.

WeBike: http://img.webike.net/catalogue/images/2213/ws-01m.jpg
Dart: https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0672/0025/files/ducati_scrambler_instructions.pdf?13308

The Dart bracket has a hole to accommodate the bolt and a "notch" for the cable to slip into and is shaped like the stock indicator mount, perfect. The one from webike has one hole and a weird tab that I did not find useful. I simply mounted the bracket on the bolt and let it be.

I've attached a quick shot of how the bracket is mounted to the turn signals, trying to highlight the imperfections. The stock indicators look a bit odd as is, so to clarify; the bracket is the glossy piece of metal coming down from the bolt on the top right of the picture.

Realistically, I could have modified the bracket with a dremel and/or a drill but decided it wasn't needed.

There are some marks on the bracket and the screen in the picture. Those aren't cracks or scratches, they are just chunks of deceased mosquitoes. Life in Illinois...

Just ordered the World Walk screen, I pondered back and forth and finally decided on the clear one. The discount code knocked off about $6.00, so the total was around $42.50 with shipping. Thanks again kjs, hope I don't have to pester you with mounting questions.

Hard to beat at that price. No worries if you have questions for mounting, feel free.

Box was waiting for me when I got home yesterday, wow that was fast. I've got work all week and family stuff this weekend, so it may be a few days before I get to the garage. I'll post back.

Thank you kjs, that was a piece of cake, just ran the turn signal bolts thru the holes in the mounting bracket. You can see where I put a piece of split hose along the seam in the speedo housing to serve as a cushion. I'm 5'5" and this has dramatically reduced the sail effect, I'll be running over 70mph with no idea I'm going that fast. It has created more wind noise at the helmet, but I believe that may be in part due to this particular modular I'm wearing at the moment.

Hey Ben! If you've settled on the notion of a fly screen and you want top notch, go for the Dart if your budget will allow. Doug (husband) had one on his Bonneville and it was slick as a ribbon. But for the money, the World Walk is hard to beat in my opinion. Bear in mind the wind pushes it back against the speedo housing, so you'll need a cushion there. The hose trim I'm using has worked fine for nearly 10,000 miles, but I've noticed it's wearing a groove in the edge of the screen, so I'll need to take a look at that at some point. I'd go with clear again, I just tend to like a clear screen.
