the fuel tank lid is difficult to open..... the inner pressure seals it to the tank and I have to strongly pull out using the lock's cover till air comes in (pppssssssss)

someone else has same issue?

There should be a breather to stop a vacuum forming shouldn't there? No problem with mine in 850 miles.

No problem with mine neither. I'll go with what Jerry said, that part is usually vented so maybe you blocked the vent line up when you were playing in the mud.

It happens since the first refuelling.... it looks like the "air intake" is blocked

Blocked air intake would make sense as it needs to vent.

Weird how already it's blocked.

Have you had problems running the tank all the way to empty? Vapor lock type issues or even worse, a vacuum dent in the fuel tank thanks to the fuel pump?

where the breather is? I'll go to check if it is blocked.... can't open the lid without pulling it, even if it is filled by half, and as soon as I open the lid, pressure is resumed by tipical sound "fffffssssssssss" as opening a can of beer

No idea really how the breather on the Scrambler works, could be either through the filler cap or via a vent line. You'd have to pull the tank off to check what lines are there and I haven't done that yet.

Realistically, the bike is still under warranty, get the dealer to check it out for you.

Key get stuck on fuel cap

The only issue i have seen thus far is that the key jams in the lock and you have to give it several serious tugs to release (DEMO Model i used)

today at 1st service, they blown compressed air into the small hole in the middle of the two nuts on the left. here is picture, you can see it on left (gold spot)

this is the tank breather.

The key getting stuck issue is resolved by ensuring you push down as you turn the key to reseal.

I had this issue with my triumph tiger 800xc. Drove me nuts that my friends would pull over for me to get fuel while on their v strom and versys. And then I couldn't get it open. Embarrasing!:|hope it works out for you!

Anything new on this? I told my dealer about that, he said he fixed it. Still having this problem..
