Hello There

Here are some things i have changed at my red icon. Now it is RED X.
- changed rear brake oil reservoir
- added belly pan protective pan (painted red)
- changed fuel tank side plates into black ones
- changed Icon marking into Scrambler X
- changed rear mud card with the one from the classic (painted red)
- paint exhaust pipes black with special paint ( 800 degrees Celsius)

Now I 'm looking for a small dark windscreen. Any suggestions?

Hey CJK. Looks great; I may have to borrow a few of these ideas. Can you post a full side profile of the bike on the exhaust side? I'd like to see how everything looks together.

As for the windscreen, it seems a few people have and like the Dart.

Comes in a few shades, including the dark one you are after. Cheers!

Nice one, here's my take on icon to enduro... gonna nick the classic rear fender come spring, as well as the exhaust upgrade. Went post mod for 2 reasons; overall sales tax on new vehicle MSRP, only paying for mods in which I choose. The UE/x was always the version i had desired, took it full custom though.

most of the handlebar region was powder coated black, black tank covers, white paint, UE... seat, grill, bar, front guards

hats-off, thanks for sharing a common concept

Looks awesome! I didn't think I'd like the red belly pan but it really pops! What is the reason for changing the brake reservoir? Just to have the solid black look?

Hello As requested the side look of the exhaust. it was planed to paint the gray heat cover (just under the fuel tank) red. Until now I did not find the right paint (ducati red high heat resistant)

Ok, sound now seeing the VHT paint, I'm happy to go that route (guessing that is what you used)
I've already done the heat shield and Termi covers on my FT with VHT paint.

I was thinking ceramic coating for the tubes, but no longer, and for 2 cans of VHT paint ~$60 and a bit of effort versus ~$300 for ceramic and same effort to remove and refit pipes, VHT it is.

Did you remove the pipes to paint or just mask off the bike?

:nerd:
