Just fitted a fender extender and thought I'd post pictures as the one from Pyramid Plastic is not very good. Should keep a lot of crud off the engine.

Thanks for sharing the pics. Agree about the pics on pyramid plastic sites - they are a bit misleading. I will be installing mine hopefully this weekend.

I used these Unibond strips to fasten it on, and a little silicone sealer to stop water running through it from under the mudguard.

Those Unibond strips look robust enough. Thanks for the tip. I was thinking of using some RTV silicone sealant to add some robustness to the joint. Did you not order the Stick fit version?

It comes with this description:

Uses double sided adhesive stick fit pads to permanently hold the Extenda Fenda on - even in the most demanding of conditions. The double sided stick fit pads are the latest offering by European adhesive giants, TESA, aimed at trim assembly on automotive production lines around the globe.

The Stick Fit Extenda Fenda is supplied complete with a pre-cut sheet of stick fit pads along with a model specific photo of the correct layout for the pads for your bike. Also supplied are comprehensive instructions, an alcohol wipe sachet to guarantee a clean bonding surface and temporary clips to ensure a strong bond in the two extreme corners during the overnight curing process.

Fitted my stick on version three weeks ago. Very secure, and it does keep the worst off the front cylinder head. Very unobtrusive too !

The stick on version wasn't an option when I got mine. I've had it a while, it just took me ages to get round to fitting it

Do they make one for the Classic front fender?
curious, was flinging crub at the front cylinder becoming a legitimate problem? Is the preemptive, cosmetic, functional?? Just curious really...

Looking at the used air cooled Monsters out there, most of them have road rash and the paint coming off the front cylinder.
