Yep, first one here, but it's mine!! I've had a deposit down since August, 2014.

I'm picking it up tomorrow.

Also...

The dealership is Eurosports, they are located about 40 minutes north of Philly in Coopersburg, PA.

A bit of a ride for me, but I'm glad I went with them. I live very close to another long-time Ducati dealership (FastByFerracci), but Eurosports moves more bikes, so I thought I would have a better chance of getting it sooner with them - which turned out to be true.

And, they have been a absolute pleasure to deal with, so there's that.

Beautiful bike. To be honest even though I have an Icon the Classic is my favorite Scrambler. If I was buying it for myself instead of my Ducati rental business, I would have gone with the Classic for sure. I was also worried about the timing of when the Classics and Urban Enduros (my second favorite) would be showing up in the US!

I absolutely had to have the "classic", and was willing to wait for as long as it took.

Fact is, I've been waiting 20+ years for someone to make a mid-displacement, 75-ish HP, ~400 lb. naked bike with classic retro looks, so a few more months would really not make much of a difference to me.

Only down-side to me was the tubes used in the tires, but I will be rectifying that issue, soon enough. I put on way too many miles to be stuck on the road somewhere, struggling with tire patches.

Hi Tony,
Sincere best wishes with your new bike.

I admit I'm very jealous though.
It appears there was some confusion at the dealer about the actual delivery order. Although I was initially told I was first in line for the Classic, I'm now being told I'm really 2nd.

Hopefully the next one will be here very soon.

hey @tonyjuliano its been a while, glad to have you back ;)
@tony king just joined the site with a FT in NYC
Yes, it certainly has been a while. I had to stay away from this place, cause I couldn't take the "anticipation" of my getting my bike any longer!

But, now that it has arrived, I'm sure I will be spending a whole lot more time around here.

I bet you'll be going through a lot of threads on accessories and/or modifications ;)

First modifications/accessories specifically.

Cool - congrats!

By the way, once you get the bike, could you post a picture of the end of the left side of the swingarm? I'm curious what Ducati is doing to cover/finish the mounts for the license plate arm on the Classics. Those of us who have removed that might want to order the covers, if they are putting some there.

Well, I'm just waiting of the bank to open so I can get a certified check, then head to the dealer to pick up the bike.

I had a weekend trip planned to a remote forest area, was going to take one of my other bikes, but if I can swing it (which means "rigging" up a very temporary connection for the GPS) then I don't think I can resist taking the new bike instead.

Here's hoping...

Oh boy, can we see pictures and more pictures, please? And Tony--please keep us posted on your plans for the wheels...tubes certainly have their disadvantages. Thanks.

Okay, sorry this took so long, but I picked up the bike on Friday at noon - then headed out on the road for a long weekend.

Just got back - so better late than never - here's the photo of the swingarm area someone requested...

Okay...

Like I said, shortly after I picked up my bike, I took it out for an extended trip.

Just got back earlier today, covered the entire break in mileage in two days, here is a LINK to my thoughts so far (positive and negative).

Go have a look...

Thanks man - and congrats on the bike!

So, they just popped a round plug on the top one and left the rear of the swingarm completely open? In that case, I'm going to have a friend design a cover that fits the entire boss on top and another that fills in the missing portion of the swingarm. I'll post when they're done in case that anyone else wants a set.

Don't know if this helps, but I just snapped a couple more pics from slight different angles.
