If we're just talking looks then I am with TC3 in liking it better than Ducati's 'lettuce drainer' or maybe more aptly called 'spaghetti drainer' looking offering.
I will go for the spaghetti with my Classic :D

I still dream of the plate of spaghetti vongole I ate in Bologna after visiting the Ducati factory/museum  .....what a day that was!

the colander look is to ensure as much airflow as possible, you will be amazed how the engine temperature will be effected by changing the airflow across it:nerd:
Not sure it will be enough of a change to cause issues as Evotech have plenty of experience making these things for all types of engines but I could be wrong...

hmmmm....it is agreed, I am sure, that whomever developed the scrambler has a true appreciation for asthetics. They know how to create a work of art don't you all think? in this case, WHY of WHY would they have the bash plate looking like it does. Surely there must be a reason. So, I wonder if it has to do whith airflow?? That is definitely a GREAT question? Umvubuafrica...where did you hear or read this? Here in California, and very soon, we will be getting temps in the 42 to 44 Celsius range. So this is a definite concern.
