I messaged Evotech about pics showing the crash bungs fitted and enquired about the tail tidy ... response below

Hi Tony, We have a Scrambler coming into the workshop tomorrow. I will have pictures of the crash protection fitted to the bike. As for the tail tidy the second stage of the process will be completed tomorrow, then final fitment the following week. Hopefully by March 16th we will have everything ready to go. We are really excited about this bike and have numerous products available on the website.
Regards Garry

Great timing on tail tidy availability.

Would anyone here consider making their own tail tidy kit with parts from the local hardware store or where ever is appropriate? I always come across those guys on moto forums :D

I like those bobbins and not a bad price and look forward to seeing the oil cooler guard
Hi Tony how do you think they would take it for a group discount, sure there are a good few of us that would want their products, leave that one with you.

Also just had a conversation with Alpina Wheels with regards to tubeless spoked wheels. they confirmed discounts if there were enough purchases. they are getting back to me over the next few days

I got the oil cooler cover today in the mail. It folds around the sides. The weight is very light but the metal is substantial enough. Maybe 2mm 2.5mm thick. The cooler cover also weighs only 60 grams despite saying it weighs 120 grams on their website. I ordered it on Monday and it got here on Wednesday. Nice! I took some photos to show the thickness of the metal and how far each side is folded over. It came with adhesive pads for the inside where it hooks onto the oil cooler.

@PeteI, there are no bolts involved. Everything I photographed, save for some black foam stickers is the entire kit.

I'm a specs nerd. If someone tells me something weighs X amount, I need to see if they're right :)

My first ride on my Scrambler when it shows up will be to the weigh scale at the edge of town.
