I read that at least some Ducati's have an ECU-enforced low rev-limit during the break-in period until the odometer hits the break-in distance milestones, after which the ECU allows higher revs. Is that true for the Scrambler?

Disclaimer: I have never owned a Ducati!

No it's not limited electronically ... you should look and do not surpass the 5.500 rpm during the first 1.000km (more info on user manual)

But you can do it :D
