p.s. On closer inspection, on my bike anyway, it's now found out to to be the plastic throttle sleeve, I feel a warranty claim incoming. So until I can that sorted, it's blip the throttle when the the over revving happens, which sorts it out ( in a work around sort of way)Warning, If you bike is over revving for no reason, by all accounts (Ducati) its the throttle side end bar weight, replacing it may solve the problem, if not, sorry..
I had the guy's Metropolis Motorcycles run a full diagnosis on the bike no fault codes found, so they rang Ducati who said, they've had a few bikes with the same problem and it's the throttle side end bar weight interfering with the controls, replace as soon as.
