After a bit of a wait and a delayed FedEx package containing paperwork, I received my Red Icon this morning.....or would it be considered late night. Yes, at 2am this morning, my Icon was delivered. Rolled right into the garage. Ask me how hard it was to go back to bed.....I didn't. Purchased from Northern Colorado Euro Motor and sent to me in Utah. By the way, never dealt with a dealer that was so customer service oriented, great to work with. Now, I just have to finish up my day at work before going home to ride it.

Ha, no Fed Ex does not. It was a nightmare just getting paperwork to and from the dealer through Fed Ex. I used a private delivery service, I knew it was coming early...just not quite that early. No complaints though.
As far as my first ride goes, wow, I don't know. Guess I will just play it by ear.

Fed Ex delivered a pool cover to me last summer at 10:40 Sunday night. Talk about a shocker! We still talk about it at parties.;)

Managed to squeak in a short but sweet little 10 mile ride before the rough weather hit. Nimble , quick and easy to ride were my first impressions. I'm 6'1", but it didn't feel small to me. I think the sound is good, albeit a little muted. Controls all seemed to be in the right spot, interesting spot for the tachometer, a bit hard to see, but I think most get the feel for shift points after just a few rides anyway. Speedo was easy to see, wanted to keep a close eye on it as it got up to speed quickly. I did notice that the low speed entry onto a side street and subsequent throttle twist would take a bit of getting used to. Not a detriment, just a matter of getting the feel of the throttle response. A short ten mile ride does not warrant a long review, suffice it to just sum it up with a word.....FUN.
