I use Tirox Chain Wax, based largely on the webBikeWorld review of it (which also mentions the Dupot stuff you're inquiring about).
Interesting. The DuPont product they mentioned is not exactly what I posted. The main difference appears to be the new product is made specifically for chain driven vehicles, and it is marked "O-ring safe."

I have a can of that Dupont stuff I bought at walmart years ago and it seems crappy and cheap.

This is what I use (Motul Road Chain Lube) which is really waxy and not as liable to fly off of the chain or simply disappear.

It looks like people like the Dupont because it's dry and doesn't make a mess. To me, it just felt like it must not be doing anything then. I like having the chain feel waxy when cold and then it melts when ridden. It'll fling it on your rear wheel if you don't let it dry overnight before riding. I wax my chain after cleaning it when I get home from a ride about once every 500-600 miles.

Amazon.com : DuPont Teflon Chain-Saver Dry Self-Cleaning Lubricant, 11-Ounce : Bike Oils : Sports & Outdoors

Anyone use this on their bike? Would this be a good thing to use in between services? A bit of a newb here, but want to make sure I'm taking care of my chain.
I have used the stuff on all my bikes, works great, not messy.

On another forum it has been mentioned some people don't use anything on their chains at all and have good results. X and Oring chains are not the same as the chains of the past, a little chain lube goes a long ways.

Just my 2 cents, YMMV
