I came across a terrible rumor on the internet today. Word has it the Scramblers that are on their way to Canada already have owners waiting for them. That would mean that the earliest lot of new Scramblers would arrive sometime in July.

Now this is all a rumor as far as we know, so I would take it with a grain of salt. Still, I really hope that this is not actually happening.

good point made here:

A third possibility cannot be ruled out, and it sees this “sold out thing” only being a marketing trick aimed at boosting the desirability the Scrambler already comes with in the eyes and minds of a certain demographic. It’s been done before in multiple other situations. Obviously not the best practice in sales, but a harmless (non-deceiving) strategy which turns out strong results

Same thing happened to the Honda GROM. It took about a year before you could see one on the floor waiting for someone to buy it.

It's the combination of "Hey that looks like fun", low cost and the ability to customize that made the GROM become something of an instant cult following.

Sound familiar?

I'm pretty positive in Alberta anyways that they are all sold already. I know I've gotten one coming and a few others I know have one coming. This is typical of a smaller motorcycle manufacturer, especially with the hype they generated over their new bike.

I think they are sold out all over the world , all the bikes heading to America have owners waiting for them , all the bikes being delivered in Europe are sold on pre orders , ( except the lucky Devils who have fallen on cancelled orders) . I do not believe Canada is special in this regard at all , and will have to wait for the orders to be fulfilled before being able to pick up stock bikes.
