So what do we expect for the Scrambler, identical to the Monster?

Oil change and valve CHECK at 7,500 mi, belts at 15,000 mi?

Ducati's website says 7,500 for "Maintenance Service" and Valve check but doesn't mention belts. I'd expect them to be 15,000 miles or 2 years, whichever comes first.

Question - is it true that the valve adjustment for this bike will be at every 7000 miles and cost a $1000 each time?

I always liked the idea of a Ducati but could never see myself owning one until now! Though, that also depends on the servicing costs.
