The seat appears to be a more complex shape, as when viewed from above it gets wider towards the back..also I understand there is an option from dealers to lower the seat height.
So, although it's fairly easy in Photoshop, it may be significantly harder in real life - but I think the lines of your change bring an interesting look - and one I'm sure someone will be fabricating...
