Ducati men’s logo. “Potere Ducati” was a promotional campaign proposed by the then Ducati CEO Fredmano Spairani, devised by the sport journalist Bruno De Prato
What do you mean represent this? Sure I can. I don't think its sexist, look at who buys Ducatis... I'm sure they have miles of demographic data telling them that 99.95678945364% of their client base is male.
Its like if men started getting offended that they only advertise maxi pads to women...
Regardless of if it is sexist or not, I just don't want to go around with a "male" insignia on me. It doesn't seem creative, interesting, artistic, or appealing to me. They could do a lot better than this.
It was the 70's alot of things they did back then would not be deemed creative now, but when the potere campaign first came out it was wildly effective at garnering attention for Ducati which was actually floundering then. Keep in mind this was smack dab in the middle of the Japanese bike invasion.
looking back at them, it might be cool if they bring back the clothing line for people that are a fan of this old school stuff
