I see this working against Ducati. If they advertised accessories early we would buy their stuff. The more we wait, the more the aftermarket options become available / desirable.

In fairness, I think it is due to an unexpected demand and an inability to produce the product on time. They first said the Icon would hit dealers in January and the others in March. How is that going?

Still, it is frustrating. I have been without a bike for a while and I want to go for a ride.

I would assume nobody has the bike yet, including the aftermarket (unless Ducati has specifically partnered with them). All they can do is mock up concepts in Photoshop until they have one in hand to get actual measurements and have a test mule.

True to a degree, but you're not factoring in the unique aspect. I do not expect a glut of companies to produce the tank inlays, or different seats (there may be a few, but nothing compared to say exhausts). Not to mention the lifestyle accessories are what they are really pushing, and I do not expect another company to begin producing Ducati swag ;)
