Ducati has taken a fairly unconventional approach to hyping up the upcoming 2015 Ducati Scrambler. In a series of 3 webisodes Ducati shows the historic origins of the Scrambler and its journey into the present day. The whole thing encompasses love, time travel, and of course, the awesome Ducati Scrambler. And the entire thing is done in claymation! I think that this type of ad campaign demonstrates again how Ducati is targeting a younger audience with the Scrambler -- people so young that they still like animation. It works for me

The story focuses on Franco and Elvira who were actual Ducati employees. A famous photo shows the two of them straddling one of the first Ducati Scramblers from the 60s. After being jumped backwards in time and then forwards again, the two of them finally get to share an elusive kiss.
The video is definitely memorable and it comes as a precursor to the eventual showcasing of the Ducati Scrambler on September 30th at the International Motorcycle show in Cologne, Germany. This is all leading up to the eventual release of the Ducati Scrambler in stores in early 2015.
