I'm selling my comfort seat. I'm not going to use it, so I'm releasing it back into the wild.

$275 shipped in the USA. I'm not going to ship out of the USA because I don't want to bother with the cost and trouble.

I rode on it for 10 miles and it's in new condition.

Only 10 miles and in new condition is all fine and good, but is there any anti monkey butt powder residue on the seat??? That's what I want to know!!!

That's a little joke from a previous thread people. Buy this man's seat with confidence. I'm sure he has cleaned it up nicely.;)

I didn't like the ride height. I like the Icon seat better. Everyone else seems to like it from what it looks like. The quality is nicer than the Icon seat but I like being more down in the bike.

Initially I was thinking I wanted the comfort sat for the added height.

I just changed the Icon's bars out to the Full Throttles, and the change in seating position is such that it will not be needed. YMMV

I should probably try that out since I bought the FT bar kit. It's sitting in my garage on the shelf because I wanted to ride the Icon bars long enough to form an opinion about the riding ergonomics.

The quality of the seat is better than the Icon and it looked fine on the bike. I just thought it changed my seating position too much to up on top of the bike rather than down in the bike.

I was really grabbing my gas tank with my knees like riding a horse when I had the tall seat on. Also I found it to be too rounded and narrow. The comfort problem with the seat isn't the padding for me, it's the fact that it's too narrow. The comfort seat padding was brand new and pretty hard. I think it'll probably soften up with use, but I didn't like the ride height. It felt like I was sitting on a 2x4 placed on top of my original seat haha.

That said, everyone else I've seen talk about it seems to love it. It just wasn't for me and my scrawny butt.

new oner

i bought the seat from silverluxe, installed it yesterday and took it for a test ride of 40 miles. it is a vast improvement over my stock classic seat. i am able to move backwards and forward without resistance. it may work for me because i am 6' 1" with a 34" inseam. thank you to silverluxe for a smooth purchase experience.

For me it was primarily the raising up feeling I got. It made me feel like I was up on top of the bike versus down in it. But comfort is comfort and we know it when we feel it :)

Thanks for picking it up!
