Hi folks. I have an FT on order - April? Started in 1974 with a 750GT that I modified with some Sport parts and engine mods and made it into a one kick starter every time. Put 30K miles on it riding all over the US. Long dry spell then an ST2 - too heavy and bulky; then a 996 - great bike! (totaled on a mountain road), then a 748R - peaky little brute, fair amount of track time; then a 1098 - too much bike for me as an aging married man. Few other non-Ducs mixed in there over the years. I'm looking to build the FT into a retro cafe as it seems many of us want to do. Cheers, Merry Christmas!

Quite a list of Duc's you had.

I currently own a 2000 996S and love it. It's such a pleasure on the race track and such a pain on the street. The Scrambler will be a nice change from the manic Ducati to a hopefully comfortable low speed fun machine.
