I never have named bikes in the past but decided to name the red Icon I have on order Mimi

Let me explain, she is a pretty red bike and will have the Termi race can un baffled so will be an attention seeker "Look at MEME"

Do I win the prize for most stupid name???

Haha, not sure about that - my first big bike (Gladius) was Gladis, my present bike is Gus the Guzzi. Haven't thought about my new Scrambler where it's a he or she

Daffy

My Scrambler is called Daffy. It has two meanings:


short for "Daffy Duc(k)"


short for "Daffodil"

I name everything. Anthropomorphism is the only thing that keeps me from being locked in the bin, I can mutter to Sally or Selma how pretty their curves are/how hard i intend to ride and its assumed i'm one of those blue tooth tossers stepping out on the missus...

I go through motorcycles too often to name them all I actually named my Land Cruiser (well my fiance did and it stuck), and I'm considering naming the Jeep I just bought. It's bright orange, and again my fiance offered up a great name "the Big O". See why I'm marrying her??

Haven't named any bikes before. I named my high school car Red Joe because it was a red (inside and out) Mercury Grand Marquis.

I think I'll probably just call this bike my Scrambler unless I am inspired.

I've never named any of my bikes and I've only ever named one car. Wayyyy back in the mists of time I had a Mk1 1300 Escort and the number plate on it was REV ????, (can't remember the numbers). Anyway, we sprayed it black and painted the door struts white and it became "The Reverend"

Had a Daihatsu Cuore ones and called it Tweety. It was white, not yellow. Had some goodies in there with tweety on it so....

I name everything. Currently riding a Vespa called Sofia (after Sofia Loren) both so beautiful, and my tiny Suzuki called The Squirt.

The scrambler will definitely have a name, something to do with the Thornton theme. (Eleanor Thornton was the model for The Spirit of Ecstasy which adorns Rolls Royce bonnets and which sums up riding). Bikes gotta have a name.


My ironing basket is called Clancy of the Overflow.

Oh my, I'm beginning to think someone slipped me some crazy pills or I have just entered the twilight zone. Either way I think I'll just move my cursor toward the delete tab button and pretend I never saw this thread.
