The icon tail looks pretty in the sun but is lousy in dirty weather. Yesterday after 1 hour ride in the rain my back looked like a cows ass :laugh: Since the forecast said rain for the entire week and I can't leave my red baby in the garage for that long without getting depressive I had to do something about it.
Had to kill time on a rainy sunday too. Ripped an old tank bag apart and sewed an elastic strip, elastic cords hook onto the indicators and underneath the license plate (protected with a thick rubber tube).
Works like a charm. Now my back is soaked exclusively with clear destilled water!

Very nice! Actually I thought about this a lot and was thinking about replacing the mudguard with the Classic one as a solution. However after seeing it on PhotoShop I think the Classic mudguard doesn't go well with the red Icon so maybe I will drop this idea and use temporary solutions as yours just for rainy days. I will bring the bike to a smiths shop to see if they can do one in aluminum or inox for me which can be plugged in or taken out easily.
