I like it! Had one on my Bonneville and it did cut down buffering against your chest a small amount.

Its an illusion there is a neutral light on the last photo.

An adjustable bracket would do wonders for this, to push it out more at the bottom or where ever someone would want to be adjusted.

Could even be something someone mocks up with parts from the local hardware store.

Its not a bad look as screens go - sadly I think that any screen will detract from the looks but if it helps with wind blast then it's got to be a good thing

Yes indeed... that's going to be rather tricky though as the instrument mount is part of the handlebar mount, and also forms the base of the instruments themselves. Several replacement components needed - not impossible, but a lot of work.

Very true.
This just is one of those areas you have to sacrifice on for what you need out of it. Can't always have the best of both worlds going on.

Me too, I took the dark one, doesn't look half bad and hopefully allows higher autobahn speeds for getting places.

They are adding pic of midnight tint soon which is a very dark tint you can not see through

I have gone for clear. I had a Dart screen on my Monster1000 for 13 years and it definately helped. Spoils the clean look a bit but adds comfort.....

Between this and the other forum several have ordered one of the 3 tints so should be plenty of pics soon to help others decide on which tint.

TC3, I'm with you, I want one but can't decide what tint, tosing up between light and dark. Normally I like contrasting so all my other bikes have really dark/ midnight tint screens but sort of thinking on a yellow Icon the light tint would just blend in better.

No harm taking my time, maybe our dollar will get better against the US and it will become cheaper

IMO, a dark tint will have a greater impact on the frontal looks of the bike, as opposed to a clear one. Since looks are subjective, it will be a case of EMWV - Everyone's Mileage Will Vary.

Secondly, and this one is very specific to my requirements, sometimes the kind of terrain I ride on - I need to be able to see everything in front of me - I can't afford a dark tint to reduce even an inch of visibility in that area.
