In case you were curious it does seem that Ducati has built the Scrambler and its accessories with mixing and matching in mind...

Like the idea. Lets hope costs are sensible .i must be in the minority but i dont like the high exhaust but each to there own. I would have thought the sump /oil filter guard would have been std on all models though as the oil filter is very vulnerable

Sorry to show my ignorance of the engine, but is the sticky out thing underneath really the oil filter? If so I'd agree with Timmy - it seems vet vulnerable...

I can see why some would like the high mount since its different. But for those who truely know a duc and its heat issues why would you want to relocate the pipe higher and have your leg over it?

As for the guard how hard would it have been to include a guard or skid plate of some sort. Oh wait nevermind its more money for them if they sell it as an optional accessory.

The lowest point that you see isn't the oil filter but its close by. The one sticking out underneath is the oil mesh filter, really a reusable screen to be exact to trap larger bits of metal.

Originally i wouldn't have thought a color combo like this would look good but the way they divided the colors makes it look well executed to me.

Thanks Dirty, I'm looking forward to examining one of these bikes close up to start to get a better feel of what's what!
