Hey all. Didn't want to snub you now that my beauty Queen has arrived. Decided to name her Lana.
So here is what I found: (this will not be a technical writing piece)
Handlebars easy to reach and very comfy
grips very comfortable as well. No need for new ones.
throttle responsive but easily feathered in turns, no problem
efi, perfect with termi, didn't try it without. bought bike and termi on faith
tires, unbelievably sticky, great on the fire road, confident as ****! thx Motogeo!
shocks are perfect. if off-road was a priority, then I would investigate more about changing but no need!!
seating position is very comfy for me and I am 5 foot 7 inches, yep a shorty
seat hurts a bit but hope it will break in soon. I've been putting four 25 lb weights at night on it, on the floor. don't know why im doing this, blame the liberal arts degree. the master's too.
paint is amazing. cruised by paint shop to look at friends bike and owner said he thought it had at least 2 or 3 shots of clear.
gas consumption is a VERY good. On second tank I got 171 miles. Yes, I did the math twice.
fyi, if you buy grill for light, it does not come with rubber gasket for cable rubbing. You have to yank off the oem one and glue it on with some strong ass glue, since it will be rubbing.
USB...still wondering what to do with it. plugged my android in but wire gets squeezed by seat so. let it be a buying point for the next person.
That's all I have, sorry I am not a technical person. Just type it in as I see/feel it!
Thanks all!
Pete
pics aren't my thing but will do my best to post for your viewing. don't hate me because my bike is beautiful. 0
