I really want to get rid of the cables for the brake line and throttle. Well, not get rid of but cut down/re-route so that it looks more like this:

Instead of this:

So, can we get the brake line cut down so we can route it along the bars and how hard is it to shorten the throttle cable?

You can have any length of brake line made at several makers.

For instance:

The trick is to make sure you have enough slack in there so when the handlebar it turned full lock to the right that it's not stretched too tight. I'm not sure of who makes custom length control cables for the throttle, but it can be done. I've made them myself for a cafe bike I built. It required making the barrels out of lead and tin solder and a lot of work with a dremel tool, but it's doable. I made custom length throttle, clutch, and front brake cables with that method.

There is a safety issue to this mod, though visually the situation improves a lot. It also doesn't improve any functional aspect.
IMO, deserves a rethink on losses vs gains of doing this mod.

Speak to a customs shop. There are plenty of custom bikes that are made with no cables at all showing at the front end, I believe they route them into the bars. It looks really tidy but I like the cables as they are, it reminds me of the bikes I had a youth because I'm an old git!
