I picked up my new icon on sat..

Amazing bike. absolutely love it..



Just a few details I wish they had taken care of. (blue tape on cables. see pic)


Could just cove with some black tape?

That should be covered with black electrical tape.. Just pick some up from your local hardware store and wrap it up so it looks clean

About 20 minutes and some electrical tape will solve that

Yes I glanced that on pick up. Wasn't too impressed if honest but will wrap with some black tape. I really do not see the point other than a production pointer for them to see where connectors are. There are certain things I have seen and wonder what the discussion was like with the design team. Lack of helmet lock or cable cord like monsters . Side stand could have had a kick down point. Why did they give it nice daytime led ring but have to have headlight on too. A couple of swingarm bobbin mounts would have been nice too.

I'd use a sharpie permanent marker to color it black before I put tape over it. Just because electrical tape gets gooey and messy in the future.

I doubt anyone else cares anyway except for me when I park her up. Also can see rear ones near grab handles. Its an OCD thing :nerd::nerd:

You can also change to braided steel ones

If you can get it, amalgamating tape is where I'd go with it.
