I have just got a Biltwell ****** S

Biltwell ****** S Ltd Edition Spectrum Helmet - Gloss Black | Motorcycle Full Face Helmets | FREE UK delivery - The Cafe Racer

I have been happy with it so far - looks cool, its light and comfortable.
Works well with the screen removed and sun glasses on - no vents but good airflow.

Downsides - not EC marked but is US DOT certificated, it is easily scratched

yeah same here post a picture at least with your helmet hanging from your handlebar :D

There's a long list. I don't fit into any Bell helmets I've tried on or that I've ever had such as the open faced 500 or the RS-1 full face. I've had Shoei, Arai, and now Schuberth full face helmets which do fit my head. Shoei are a bit too narrow for me any more. I've owned a Biltwell El Fuerte open face but it was pretty 'marvin the martian.'

The goal for me if I got another helmet is convenience. I want something I can put on for city rides that's safe, but quick to get on and off. My Schuberth C3 is about the fastest to put on full face I've owned. The Bullitt looks cool, but I'm not sure I want to pay as much as I did for a much more feature-rich helmet.

I like the bell bullitt, I have seen and tried one on in the US but its a lot off £££ - it is super high quality with a leather lining as is 'Road Legal'

The Biltwell is more budget and this shows in how easy it is to scratch but it is lighter and closer fitting to your head, now I am happy with the looks etc I will replace it with a Bell Bullitt when the time comes

I don't think I could do a open face as need a chin bar but do like the helmets from Hedon!

I own (and use regularly) the Bell Bullitt and both a Biltwell ****** & Bonanza (3/4).

Great helmets all - the Bell's price tag is justified by the build quality and materials - the Biltwells are super light and have a real close fitting shell (so you dont look like the "Great Gazoo").

I've been looking at the helmet for a while! I know there is no seal between the visor or the helmet but have you taken it out in the weather yet? How is it in the rain?

And what does it look like without the visor? those hinge mounts not too abrasive? Throw up a photo if you can :)

Thanks
J
