Our first almost really clear look at the 2015 Scrambler. Some people say it looks like a sportster, some people think its too hip. Frankly, it looks like a motorbike and if it can compete with say the Bonnie for dollars, well why should any one be offended?

Seems to be a relaxed and comfortable riding position with its wide bars and sumptuous banana saddle. Notice the old Ducky logo on the rear of the saddle, along with the Domina Yellow paint its a nice homage to the original 450 Scramblers. Instrumentation seems to be fully digital, and that tail light I'm in lust with.

Expect the Scrambler with an airhead V-Twin, likely between 80-87 horses (as per 696 and 796 Monsters), rumour has it ABS could be an option...

I like the tail end more than the front end. I like that they kept things really simple everywhere though. Looks like there is plenty of room for people to make the bike their own if they want to. I just think that Ducati is going to charge an arm and a leg for a pretty simple and easy going bike.

thats interesting, as most people seem to hate the rear end. The front is properly retro inspired but the rear just looks like it was kind of stuffed into a corner with the hopes that no one would notice. Of course these are not the definitive photographs so all judgement should wait until such ;):D

Naturally Ducati will not give this bike away, as a smaller solely bike manufacturer it makes it much more difficult for them to compete on price...

not bad at all i'm loving these shots.
already this is a good look, enough to let out imaginations run wild as to what the rest will look like.
Well for certain there will be a gearbox in there somewhere, kickstand or centre stand will be standard equipment, hopefully Ducati supplies the foot pegs as well!

I assume a gas cap should be present, as well as some kind of ignition switch for good measure.

There's really not much more to see ;)

LOL, that other pic is terrible photo shop, but I don't see any irregularities in the other photo.
Ha ha.....it sure is!! :)

The problem is.....whilst I want to believe the first shot as well, the second is making me doubt the first. I think it might look a little muscular compared to the other, more trustworthy, spy shots we've seen.

I couldn't swear to it, but the more I look at it, the more I see a doctored Harley XR1200.....especially the tank shape and dimensions.

Maybe it's just me.....

No its not at all isolated. That was my prime thought when we first saw spies a few weeks back!

Interesting finds, however I have little faith in their veracity. The claim is made on the back of the noise testing video, and the prime argument is built on the note of the engine while testing. One problem is that the sound has been muted purposely by all the testing equipment.

Not to mention Ducati has no 400 engine simply laying around the factory. They already went on record a few months back saying a new engine would be too costly and too risky for JUST the scrambler...

Oh and the media is just starting to find the spy shots posted here, what 3 days late ;)

Yeah, I don't put much stock in the '2 engines' theory either.:)

Another spy shot I came across on line today. Similar to the previous ones, but this time without the barrel on the back!!! :D

However, the more I see pictures of the complete Scram, the more I feel it'll be too small for a 6ft+ fella like myself:(

Ben
