Apologies to you blokes, made a couple of posts and forgot to introduce myself. Names Steve from Brisbane, Australia and I'm another old bugger, 55, with a yellow Icon on order. Been riding since I was in school and bikes have always been my most used transport. Retired now so not clocking up the kilometres commuting but enjoying them more for fun rides. This will be my first Ducati but I have a couple of old Guzzis and a Benelli in the garage so no stranger to Italian fun. Modern bikes, I also have a 98 F650, an SV650 and a DL650 for my fun rides as well as a couple of 250's for shopping and trail riding. Looking forward to getting the Scrambler and thanks to you blokes that already have them for sharing the information, hopefully I can contribute more to this forum when mine arrives in the next few weeks.

Welcome, Doc59! I love the weather in Brisbane and I can imagine how fun it is to ride this bike over there...
Welcome mate, I'm also from Brisbane and I think there's a handful of us here...
Welcome Doc. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts when you get your hands on yours. And nice fleet you have in your garage. Cheers.

Welcome Doc,

I'm an old bugger in Brisbane too, 52 and not yet retired, can't quite bring myself to it but getting close.

My yellow icon should arrive before Easter it will join my Triumph Thunderbird in the garage.
Thanks for the welcome gentlemen
What did you guys get a group rate or something ;) In all my years as an internet participant, you know a site has arrived when the Aussies invade ;)

We're all here because none of us got our bikes yet - so come around to drool over the European's bikes!
