I've got an S3/KH350 in the garage as we speak, still sounds bad, but the green exhaust smoke is to die for . . . It wasn't my first bike, but it's the bike I would have bought in 1972 if I'd had a few more bucks.

i'm going to throw a wild guess out here and suggest one of the reasons is price, new ducati, great specs and priced quite well in comparison to what else you can get!

In years gone by nothing in the Ducati brand appealed to me, maybe because they came across to me as only producing expensive high performance bikes & that wasn't (& still isn't) what interested me, also that no one in my circle of mates had one.
Only had Kwaks & Suzuki up until now.

Bag of spanners? bit harsh but maybe time has distorted my memories, I thought they purred!

Nothing like the smell of 2 stroke in the morning.
