We've had chatter about the yuck of this colour or the want of that colour... well how about bare? Or shall we consider it a blank canvas?

Regardless add these to the list of considerations...

Good point, these are things you want to keep consistent. Best to keep it that way, sort of in aim of how it would be from the factory.

also keep in mind the polished finish has nothing else on it, it's basically a blank canvas , good opportunity to add some custom vinyl.
