One of the most eciting reveals from the 2013 EICMA was the 2014 Ducati Streetfighter 848. The geometry is derived from the 848EVO machine, and this delivers great control and precise handling. The new frame keeps the ulright riding position, and the progressive power delivery of the 848 Testastretta 11 degree mill enhances the experience.

The 2014 Streetfighter 848 produces 132 hp and 93.5 Nm. The 43mm Marzocchi forks are fully adjustable in spring preload as well as compression and rebound damping while the Sachs rear monoshock is loaded in a linkage system and is also fully adjustable in spring preload and damping, both in compression and rebound.

Not pricing yet, so stay tuned.

This bike looks really great. Ducati is on a roll with its new bikes. Which should mean that the Scrambler will look really nice too. Given that the Scrambler will be cheaper, I am going to wait for the Scrambler still, but the release of the Streetfighter just gets me even more excited.

I really like the bulky double exhaust setup. The Streetfighter looks like it might be a bit heavy though. TBH I like almost every bike that Ducati comes out with, but I really want to see the Scrambler because it is a brand new model that should be more affordable. The rest of Ducati's lineup is just for me to dream about at this point.

Im the opposite, i hate how it looks, to me it doesn't flow with the bikes design and doesn't look "clean". I'm not too worried as this is an area that can always be changed to ones liking :)

The Streetfighter is a bulkier bike. I think the exhaust fits with that style. What type of exhaust would you pair with the Streetfighter instead? I think that something subtle or smaller would look weird. Dwarfed when compared to the thick and dense front part of the bike.

I don't find the headlight so bad. In fact I like the bike quite a bit, I just want something a bit more casual and less expensive. I dig the single-swing arm on the bike and the double exhaust. Doesn't look like you could really fit a passenger on there with you though.
