I Just heard from the Spark distributor here in the states...

They added 3 official Spark scrambler exhaust variants to their site - JUST TODAY - and the are taking orders. Here are some pics...

The first is the one I just ordered, middle of the price range at $550 shipped - US.

The second is the most expensive @ $999 US

And the 3rd the cheapest @ $450 US.

All models come with removable "DB Killers". Shipping is 4 - 6 weeks.

All are scrambler-specific, no permanent modifications required.

Here's a LINK to the US distributor's page. scroll to the bottom...

My favorite has been the hydroformed one. The best sound clip I've heard was the low mount Zard, but I'm not a fan of the circle holes heat shield for it.

450.00 is getting into sane pricing territory for a MUFFLER. :) I'm considering having some exhaust pipe bent so I can mount up mufflers I already have just to see if I even can live with the sound or not. I've got a pair of British Customs mufflers from a wrecked Thruxton. One of them fitted over there might not look too horrible.

Just for clarification...

The first pic I posted shows a carbon fiber can, which is actually a 100+ dollar up-charge. The price I listed, and the one I ordered, is all stainless steel.

It appears that Rexxer has figured out the ECU for these bikes and you can get a unit that'll reflash your map and allow you to reset your service indicators and the TPS, etc... Once we have a cheaper source for some similar software for use on our own phones or computers, I'm going to be all over a custom exhaust. I know that the bike adapts to open exhaust since it's fuel injected, but they already have the thing tuned for emissions.

However, it's promising that they've already cracked the code, so hopefully some other people are on top of it as well.

i like the 2nd one the best.
But somehow there should be a heatshield ... cause the pipes look a bit strange when partii've wirten spark and asked them allready
if they got a soundfile.

but they just started work again yesterday, after their italian holiday ... so i guess it takes a while until i get an answer.

I'll be adding a sound clip of the dual outlet exhaust system shortly. I took two videos (one with the baffles inserted and one with them removed.)

With the baffles inserted a factory mapped bike will run just fine and you don't experience a lot of backfiring. Power feels as good or better than with the factory muffler.

With the baffles out, the bike sings, but you'll need to re-map your ECU in order to not have it feel a bit anemic and possibly sputter on you when you roll up to a stop sign quickly.

I want to record an HD video of the bike during the day. I made the sound test clips at night when it's quiet where I live so you can hear the sounds.

I also own a Scorpion exhaust kit and the Spark exhaust I have is made to a higher quality level. The metal is very thick and every part of the exhaust including the screws that hold the baffles into place are made of stainless steel. At first I questioned the concept of a dual outlet since it most likely doesn't offer any performance increase, but it sounds sweet.

I also think it looks better in person than in the photo I had originally seen. It's a very nice piece of equipment!
