I thought this was a forum for classics but never mind, almost completed a wee 250 scrambler I have been restoring for the last year and a half. Complete engine rebuild lightened and balanced crank, wheels relaced with stainless spokes electronic ignition and 12v generator fitted the list goes on.

Few ventures on the way but everything coming together nicely now.

Oh man, great job! Sometimes i'd rather take the time and build myself an old school Scrambler as well. This looks like a great little project to take on, but I just don't have the time right now. Did you find it easy to source all the parts needed?

Well done what a fantastic job you have done on it, a labour of love and a beautiful bike , hope you can now enjoy it
Nicely done, congrats.
Nice work Sam, that's a stunner.

Great bit of restoration :)
Awesome job, mate. Waiting for a review ^^
That is seriously impressive. When I saw that first picture I was sceptical, but you did an amazing job. I'm sure the bike is all the more fun to ride knowing the amount of work you've put into it.
Cheers guys! :)

Parts were sourced in the UK cycle and small engine parts ,America piston, Italy conrod and bigend and Australia for piston rings but over a year and a half period

@sam well done,

P to the S, is that you in the sidecar?[/QUOTE

Yes me in the drivers seat I used to race sidecar that picture was taken on Thurday night practice at the TT way back in 1991 we recieved the best newcomers award that year.

Hugely impressed! There's nothing on Earth like the TT, simply awesome, the best racing event I've been to. To have raced on the Island you must have balls the size of a house.

Beautiful

hey scrambler is scrambler. Yours is classic classic and mighty fine. I restore old bikes too and wish I had one like that. Now I have the Icon to adore and will adore the old ones too.
