Unhappy License plate bracket

looking for a License plate bracket that sits behind my wheel ? can't find any aftermarket ones that will fit the 62.

What do you mean, behind wheel? doesn't the OEM do that?

The 62 has a bracket that comes immediately off of the rear fender and the full throttle has the rear hugger arm so I assume you are talking about using the rear hugger/mudguard like the Icon/FT/Flat Track.

I just took the rear hugger off of my Icon and noticed the swingarm is slightly modified to accept the arm. There may be some aftermarket pieces eventually, but I'm doubting the OEM part will fit the 62.

Could you take a close up picture of the swingarm of your 62? Right by the chain tensioner/rear sprocket?

The swingarms look different on the 62 and the 800cc models. :

I got rid of that whole mess. Personal preference I guess, but I think the Icon version is way better.

If they left the same bracket as in the Icon the Sixty2 would have been very elegant and aligned with the other models at no cost impact for Ducati ... too bad this was not done.

Ive got a evotech one for a icon for sale. It looks cleaner than the big piece of plastic hanging off the 62.
